Lonely

I feel out of sync with the world. Like everything is happening without me. For example I always loved my classes and my school buddies. But for the last couple of days it’s like I don’t belong there. And today it’s like I can be in the room with 100 people and feel completely lonely… And I planned to go to a party today. I guess I’ll still go, but I’m not sure I’ll stay long.

When I joined BuddySlim I was quite keen on meeting new people and I guess I made a few buddys. But now, after only a month my inbox is mostly empty and I do feel a bit lonely here. :( But still, keepig food log and writing this blog really keeps me motivated and focused at my goals.

I haven’t really worked out at home this week yet. I usually workout when I’m alone, because I don’t really like anyone watching me. And usually my boyfriend goes climbing on tuesday and has classes on wednesday. But this week he didn’t go climbing and he didn’t go to class. I miss my turbo jam. :( But it’s not really alot room to workout and it really is easier when I’m alone. I hope he will go out today so I can workout a bit before I go to the party.

Oh, I almost forgot. I should really work on reshaping my upper arms, legs and my butt. So if anyone knows any great exercises for working that areas I would really appreciate it. :)

And I guess I’ll post my challenge points tomorrow as I probably won’t have time to come back to the computer later. But I actually did everything already, I only have to do the workout. And I have to keep myself from eating and drinking at the party.

    Hi, it is very quiet on BuddySlim lately, so don’t feel like you are the only one with an empty mailbox. Since it’s been so slow, I go into the forums and keep busy with challenges too. I get more support from the challenges and my team right now than I do on my blog or from messages.

    I didn’t like working out with anyone watching me at first either. Can you go for a walk or something like that when your boyfriend is at home?

    As for arms, legs, and butt, I love weight training DVDs. Do you have weights at home?

    Yes, I usually go for a walk if I can’t get him out of the apartment. :) But today I’m really up for a nice TurboJam. :) Anyway, we went for a walk in the morning, if nothing else, that will have to do for today.

    I have weights and I have wristbands. I sometimes use wristbands with turbojam, but I don’t remember ever using actuall weighs.:) I’ll search for some weigth training DVDs, thanks.

    I’ll take your advice and go search the forum for interesting stuff. :) And I’m really loving this christmas challenge. :)

    I work out by myself all the time. Hub is in a wheelchair so we go nowhere together. So, I have made friends to do things with. Just working out is my thing for me. Put yourself out there to meet people. I don’t make friends easily. So, I force myself to go to things and then I am glad I did.

    I don’t mind working out alone. I had a friend for a while, but she was thinking that if she goes to gym twice a week she can eat everything she wants. And usuall when we left the gym I was soaking in sweat but she was looking perfect. :) I don’t think that kind of friend helps much. And my boyfriend is a bit too extreme for me. :) He’s a rockclimber.
    So workout is kind of “my time”. I can really relax and think just about working out. The diet part is usually where I need some tough love and someone to lock the fridge. :)

    Im so sorry your feeling so down. Isolation is one of the worst emotions if you ask me. Try talking to your boyfriend or a close mate about how your feeling. Sometimes just sharing how you’re feeling makes the world of difference :)
